This is an excellent late model example of the flagship of the Grand Banks line of "Classic" trawlers. Traditional design, spacious accomodations and sea keeping ability are three of the reasons the GB 49 continues to be a popular choice for experienced cruisers world wide. A long list of high end equipment includes Wesmar Stabilizers, 435 h.p. Caterpillar diesels, 15kw generator, 400 GPD Watermaker, Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning, Cold Plate Refrigeration, Washer & Dryer, State of the Art Electronics and 10' Apex RIB Dingy with 25 h.p. outboard motor. All the interior spaces are very spacious including the walk-in utility room and engine room. There are three staterooms and two full heads with showers. The forward stateroom has an ensuite water closet. The saloon features a large L-Settee, drop leaf yacht table, full galley and helm station with bench helm seat. The high horsepower 3208 Cat diesels provide an amazing top speed of 18+ knots and a very wide cruising speed range. Her current owners and two previous owners cruised the boat extensively and have provided excellent maintenance and upgrades. She has recently been launched for the winter cruising season and is currently berthed in Vero Beach, Florida. This is a must see Grand Banks for discriminating trawler cruisers.
