Starting from the swim platform and moving forward through the transom door you see a large conversation cockpit with a good amount of seating as well as an entrance to the aft cabin. There is a custom dinghy davit system here as well as a separate motor davit. The owner calls this area the conversation pit. To port is a set of steps leading to the center cockpit and to starboard is a hatch leading to the aft stateroom. The aft stateroom has a center double berth and a full head with shower forward and to port. Storage abounds on this vessel with two large sliding cabinets and two generous hanging lockers as well as the two open cubbies in the aft cabin alone. The aft head has three large cabinets of its own. Moving forward and up two steps you come to the salon. The salon can be accessed from the aft cabin as well as a double door hatch off of the center cockpit. The salon has a u-shaped dinette to port and a very long settee to starboard just forward of the sliding bar and more storage compartments. Looking to starboard you see the A/C and generator controls as well as two more storage compartments. Of particular note is that every cabin has its own air conditioner. To port is a complete galley with a double sink and a filtered fresh water spigot. There is a Force 10 LPG stove and oven as well as two refrigerators. A chart storage bin sits just outside of the galley within arm’s reach of the pilot house console that sits to starboard. Next to the lower binnacle is the electrical panel. A large cedar lined closet forward of the electrical panel holds the Heart Interface as well as the Spectra 9 GPH Watermaker. Moving forward there is a door to port that leads to the forward head. To Starboard is another hanging locker and a cabinet with a spacious drawer. A large v-berth sits ahead of that with storage underneath the steps and a sail locker underneath the forward berth. Just aft of the berth is another cabinet with two sliding drawers and another entrance to the forward head through the separate shower compartment. The forward head is roomy and doesn’t leave you feeling like you are in a closet. This layout is great for a cruising couple or even a small cruising family that likes to live the Captain Ron lifestyle.

The owner has kept the electronics simple without scrimping on quality. There is a redundant GPS system with the Garmin GPSmap 540 at the center helm and the Magellan Meridan Marine unit at the pilot house helm. The addition of a Raytheon RL70CRC in May of 2010 gives color radar capability as well as another GPS charplotter capability. There is a rebuilt Datamarine Wind Machine, and a Datamarine depthsounder with two displays onboard.
For communications there is the Standard Horizon with an additional RAM mike as well as the Icom IC-M710 Single side band with the optional Pactor IIE modem giving you e-mail capability while you are on the high seas. Of course it can’t be called a world class cruiser without a good autopilot and the Simrad/Robertson AP22 is one of the best to be put on a recreational vessel.

There are so many redundant systems and upgrades done to this boat that it is difficult to put it into a simple ad. I would be more than happy to speak with you about this boat and all the additions the owner has done for both safety and cruisability. All of the work has been overseen and well documented by a very fastidious owner. All maintenance records are available for serious buyers upon viewing of the vessel.
All tools and personal items are excluded as are generic spare parts. All spares specific to the boat will convey with the vessel.
The Company offers the details of this vessel in good faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel. Knot On is a gorgeous example of Bob Perry’s go-anywhere and do anything design. She boasts everything that a serious voyager or live-aboard could want. From the Panda generator, the watermaker, the color radar, and the three air conditioners, to the fresh hull side paint this boat is complete and ready to go wherever you would want to go.
This owner has invested well over half her asking price in upgrades, renovations, and redundant systems since he bought her. These boats normally sell in the high 100’s but the owner is ready to buy a trawler of similar value to cruise the Great Circle Loop.
SELLER WILLING TO TRADE for a trawler/cash. This boat is shown by appointment only so call and see what perfection is all about.
