Hull, Deck, Superstructure
The hull is an all hand laminated fibreglass construction. The bulkheads are made of teak faced marine plywood, which are securely bonded to the hull and deck. There is an external lead ballast of 6,700 lbs. The ballast is secured to the hull with acidproof steel bolts.
The deck and superstructure are all hand laminated fibreglass constructions. The deck has an antislip surface, including the wheelhouse roof. All windows are manufactured of toughened safetyglass suspended in alloy frames. The guardrail on the Nauticat 37 is made of solid teak. The rail is mounted to deck with stainless steel stanchions which are equipped with lifelines. Freshwater hot/cold shower on aft deck. Boarding gates aft and starboard. Six solid fairleads and fourheavy duty bollards (2 fairleads and 2 bollards in the bow, and 2 fairleads and 2 bollards in stern and two fairleads midship). Pulpit and pushpit are made of stainless steel. The deck is fastened to the hull with an alloy toe rail, and the joint is made with acidproof steel bolts. The anchor locker is situated in the bow. There is a white table in cockpit.
Propulsion is provided by a Yanmar 4JH4E marine diesel, 39,6 kW/54 hp/ 3000 rpm. It has a mechanical transmission, with a reduction of 2.14:1. The engine is fresh water cooled. The shaft is made of acid-proof steel, ø 35 mm, swinging a 3 blade Flex-O-Fold propeller. Parts below waterline are protected by corrosion anode. Fuel tanks are located on both sides of the engine room.,The fillers are located on deck and there is a separate handpump for taking out the dirt.  There is also additional space for a generator in the properly sound-insulated engine room.
All through-hull fittings below waterline are equipped with seacocks.
The fresh water system includes two tanks which are independently deck filled with a crossover valve in the galley. The water tanks are situated under the pilothouse sole. A pressurised system supplies heads, galley and shower facilities.  There are basin and handshowers in the heads. Electric waste pump. The Nauticat 37 is equipped with one automatic, electric bilge pump with manual override and one manual bilge pump in the cockpit.

Two independent steering systems are employed in parallel. At cockpit helm station there is a Capillano hydraulic steering with turnover rate of two turns lock to lock. At the inside helm position a similar system is used with turnover rate of 3–6 turns lock to lock. Rudder of fibreglass, rudder stock of acidproof steel, support bearings of bronze. Emergency steering by way of a tiller connected directly to the rudder stock.
Electrical & Electronics
Boat's service by way of a 12 V D.C. system employing 3 heavy duty batteries of 1×135 Ah and 2×185 Ah, housed in a ventilated box in the engine room. A master switch for start and service batteries. The charging system employs a 12 V/80 A alternator with a relay for parallel connection during engine running. Individual function controlled by a switch panel, including automatic fuses for all outlets with lights positioned throughout the vessel. This includes a flexible arm chart light and reading lights at berths. All wardrobes have illumination lights. Running lights according to international standards.

The Nauticat 37 is rigged as a sloop with Seldén manufactured silver anodized aluminium boom and furling mast. The mast has internal halyards and it is sound-proof.

Interior construction of satin varnished solid teak and teak faced marine plywood, except the heads which are finished in light laminates with teak trim. All mattresses are Familon Ultra Aeroflex instead of standard.

The forecabin has two berths in V-configuration with spacer cushion which converts it to a double berth. There is a large full-length illuminated hanging locker with shelves in the rear.                           
Storage under berths. Large aluminium framed skylight hatch overhead. There are reading lights over berths, and overhead lights plus a 12 V outlet.
Located by the forward cabin. It has pressurized water, a basin, and a marine vacu-flush head and shower. Inside the door on the ceiling there is a curtain rail of aluminium and shower curtain.

This cabin is located on the port side of the yacht. It has a comfortable wide berth. There is an openable skylight hatch for light and ventilation. Full height wardrobe. Storage space behind the berth. Makes a great "sea berth".
Owner's Stateroom
This space is dominated by a wide center double bunk. On bothsides there are large lighted wardrobes. Drawers and storage are located under the berth. There are shelves beside the bed. Cabinets are located on starboard side. The reading lights are above the bunk and overhead lights are situated on the ceiling. On the port side there is a vanity desk with mirror. There are four opening windows in the cabin, and two windows at the stern. The cabin also has one vent on the ceiling and a 12 V outlet
The aft toilet is spacious. It has pressurised water, a basin, and a handshower. The head is supplied with marine vacu-flush head, holding tank and a pumpout fitting on deck. Inside the door on the ceiling, there is an aluminum  curtain rail. Ceiling light and one mirror and an openable window. The compartment is finished in light laminate. Seperate holding tank for each head.

The visibility is unimpaired to all directions through the aluminium framed safetyglass windows with suncover for front windows. From the pilothouse there is a companionway to the cockpit and there are also steps, which lead down to the owner's stateroom. The helm station to starboard includes a table with drawer for charts. Ample storage on starboard side. Engine function instruments and navigation equipment are mounted conveniently in a contoured panel providing flush mounting of instruments. Above the helm a translucent, adjustable hatch. The switchboard includes automatic fuses and one push button for the signal horn. There is also a chart light and one overhead light. All instruments are illuminated for night use.
Access to the engine room through the pilothouse sole. An audible alarm indicating oil pressure and temperature malfunctions is fitted in the wheelhouse and at the outer steering station. Warning lamps inside for low oil pressure and high motor temperature. The large raised U-shaped settee accommodates six persons comfortably for dining or relaxing. Storage under the settee. The pilothouse has two overhead hatches, overhead lights and one red chart light.
