This fresh water only 1988 BW Montauk was completely redone and improved in Ohio two years ago. All hardware, cleats, railings etc. were removed and the shell painted with a high grade marine paint. A new heavy duty rub rail was installed, new Standard VHF radio, Garmin GPS with depth sounder/fish finder, on board battery charger with 110V power inlet (pictured), new bilge pump, all new wiring, fuel lines, filter bracket and new cooler seat. The navigational lights are new and were relocated. The gel battery with battery case was moved to inside the center console to free up cockpit space. All the teak trim was taken all the way down to bare wood and treated with high grade marine finish. All the upholstery was replaced and heavy duty custom mooring canvas was made and is shown in the pictures. There is also a full mooring cover for storage. The bottom has bottom paint and with the on board battery charger the boat can be left in the water with no fear of any standing water. The two stroke 90 HP Yamaha is a low hour 1997 and runs great. This is the engine series that Yamaha built their reputation on. A big feature is the 26 gallon fuel tank that is mounted out of the way under the helm seat. The boat also comes with an aluminum trailer. I am only the second owner of this boat and looking for a larger boat.
